Kim Hanson, Lighting Designer
A lighting designer for 40 years, Kim Hanson’s early career was spent largely on the road as a designer and electrician with many tours including the first A Chorus Line tour of S.E Asia. He has designed for Gateway Playhouse on Long Island for 30 years and often designs for The Waterfront Playhouse in Key West. Kim has designed for Chen and Dancers, New American Ballet Ensemble, Nutcracker Key West, Ballet Santa Barbara, Mainstreet Ballet, and was Lighting Director for the US Tours of the Saint Petersburg State Ballet on Ice. Kim resides in a small town in Connecticut where he is currently a Selectman after serving for many years as Chair of its Board of Education.
Miller James, Costume Designer
Miller James's award-winning costume designs have been produced for Opera Santa Barbara, UCSB Opera Department, Ensemble Theatre Company, as well as Santa Barbara Theatre Company where he designed Peter Pan, Doubt and Our Town. Other highlights include Ellis Island for the Santa Barbara Symphony, Pagliacci, Cosi Fan Tutte, Rigoletto, and The Masked Ball for Opera Santa Barbara and David and the Giant for Ensemble Theatre Company. Miller serves as an Adjunct Instructor in Stage Craft/Costume Design at Westmont College and has been the Resident Costume Designer. Also a free-lance stage director, Miller holds a BA in theatre from Seattle Pacific University and an MA in Theatre and Dance from California Stage University, and lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, 15 year old daughter, and 12 year old twin boys.
Jennifer Marco, Stage Manager
Jennifer Marco has been involved with the arts ever since her parents enrolled her in a dance class at the age of 2. It is part of her being. Her involvement has led her from New England to Florida from New Zealand to California. Ms. Marco has a degree from Florida Southern College in Theatre Design and Technology and received her acting certificate from PCPA. An accomplished actor, she has performed in productions by such groups as Circle Bar B Dinner Theater, Elements Theatre Collective, DIJO Productions, and DramaDogs. She is beyond excited to be included in this production with AD&M! Her desire is to support the creative process whatever and wherever that may be. She is excited to see what the future holds!
